Vera -The name Vera holds deep personal meaning for our founder and symbolizes the value of knowledge that will help your children grow.

The word Vera means faith or belief.

At our school, we believe:

• Every child is incredibly talented. Our mission is to help them build the confidence to explore their potential courageously and never let anyone diminish their self-worth.

• Discipline and respect are essential. Success in both sports and life cannot be achieved without these fundamental values.

Founder

"In January 2024, I lost my grandmother. Her name was Vera. She was an amazing woman with a strong personality and a loving heart. At the age of eight, she brought me to a Judo school, and throughout my life, she supported my sports career." 

Maksym Hromov, proud grandson of the inspiring Vera, is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) brown belt under the Caio Terra Academy USA, where he has been guided by Coach Ranulfo Gonzalez. With over a decade of experience, he is committed to sharing his knowledge by mentoring others and promoting the core values of martial arts, including discipline and respect.

Vera BJJ, his academy, is a heartfelt tribute to his grandmother Vera, the extraordinary woman who taught him the importance of discipline and respect.

 

Behind every success, there are always important people who deserve to be remembered! This is Coach Gonzo (Ranulfo Gonzalez), Maksym’s coach and friend, who has always supported him on his path to success.
